Ms. Russo's track record is indeed impressive, by several different measures.

Call me sentimental, but I've got a soft spot for Phil Schoonover, who has done such spectacular work at CC since he took the top job in 2006 that the board chose not to take me up on the offer I made last May:

Lee, Mr. Schoonover is definitely up there, as you've pointed out, was a close 2nd (thus far).

Interestingly, one of the 1st firms we considered was former tech bubble star, JDS Uniphase. Back in 2/2000 the stock closed at $1,120...now we're somewhere in the $12 range, which comes out to something like a 93% loss over that period.

Funny thing though - and this came as a huge surprise - there isn't a single C-level executive with a tenure in their current role of longer than 5 years. Weird. Stock tanks on Executives' watch, and you actually FIRE THEM????? Whaaaaaa????

The Ford Family.

Great call Miami! If only the Ford family ran a fund, we could have an ultra-short etf that'd likely make a killing, damn!
